tcs2014: Symposium on Thermal and Catalytic Sciences for Biofuels and Biobased Products

Join us at tcs2014, a biofuels conference that focuses exclusively on thermochemical processing of biomass into fuels and chemicals. The program will feature speakers discussing recent scientific developments in this rapidly developing field. This forum offers a mix of plenary sessions featuring leading experts in the field, interactive breakout sessions, and ample opportunities to network with colleagues. The last day of the symposium will offer an optional tour of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

  • Standard rate: $895
  • Student rate: $475

Program

Program topics include:

  • Advances in pyrolysis and solvent liquefaction
  • Advances in gasification
  • Catalytic upgrading of bio-oil and syngas to fuels and chemicals

Participants will include academic, government, and industry researchers who are making thermochemical processing one of the most exciting developments in advanced biofuels. The conference program features a keynote speaker for each day. See the conference program for a complete agenda, including links to detailed agendas for each day. Note that the symposium ends on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 4:30 p.m., except for those who choose to participate in the optional NREL tours on Sept. 5.

Agendas, speaker bios, and other conference information are also available on our Grupio Conference App for iOS and Android devices.

Dates and Location

The symposium will be held Sept. 2 – 5, 2014, in Denver, Colorado, at the Embassy Suites Denver Downtown Convention Center.
